To receive SOL in Nova, share the receiving address for your Solana wallet and make sure the sender selects the Solana network. You do not need to share a recovery phrase, connect to an unfamiliar website, or sign a transaction just to receive SOL.

Before you send from an exchange or another wallet

Open the wallet you intend to fund in Nova and use its receive action to copy the Solana address. If you manage several wallets, check which one is selected. Compare the complete destination address before confirming the transfer; do not rely on a contact name or a few matching characters.

At the sending service, choose SOL and the Solana network. The service may set a withdrawal minimum, charge a withdrawal fee, or delay a withdrawal for its own checks. Read the final amount and any fees shown before you approve. A small first transfer can help you check a new destination.

How to check whether SOL arrived

Look for the transaction signature supplied by the sender. Check its status on a Solana explorer, confirm the receiving address, and compare the transfer amount. A withdrawal request at an exchange is not the same as a finalized blockchain transaction.

If the transaction is finalized but the app has not refreshed, confirm you are viewing the correct wallet and refresh its balance and activity. If no signature exists yet, the sending service is the place to check first. Avoid resending automatically before you understand the original transfer status.

What should stay private?

Your public address is for receiving funds. Your private key and recovery phrase are not. Nova support does not need those credentials to investigate a transfer.
